Mrs. Hughes was born in Minnesota, grew up in Southern California and has lived in Washington since 1983 after a year and a half in Houston. She has lived in Issaquah with her husband Ernie since 1988 and raised two children Tom and Melina.
Education: BS in Physical Education from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Teaching certification from Cal State Bakersfield, BS in Occupational Therapy from UW.
